Lourdes France​:

This is one of the most sacred religous site in christianity as it is the place where Saint Bernadette had 18 visions of mary inside a grotto which christians visit to witness a religious place. A key event in this site is when bernadette by the grotto and the ground  suddenly released a fresh spring of water out of the muddy ground it was witnessed by lots of people and thats when they started believeing that mary was here when bernadette said she visioned her, also the water which is still there is believed to have healing powers and due to this most of the visiting people are the sick and unwel but only a number of "miracles" were confirmed by the church and not all were healed.

Why Go?

Going here a a pilgrim will impact the way you worship the chritstian religion as it makes you think that if these miracles existed and happend and bernadette realy did see 18 visions of mary then a thought inside your mind would be that maybe these holy saints etc are real, heaven and every other christian related subject could be real.

 

What makes it special?

This grotto is special as it is the place where mary was visioned, miracles that relates to the spring occuring and is special because if the water does have healing powers it can change the whole of humanitie thanks to mary. This grotto is a very speciall place to christians as this is where they may worship mary and thank her for personal things.
